40 DAYS OF PRAYER

Our church family is currently engaged in a 40 day Prayer Journey together. Praying for our hearts to be in tune with God’s as we take this next big step as a church family. Preparing our hearts to talk about our faith and risk sharing our faith beyond church walls. As you commit to 40 days of prayer, your prayer life will become more consistent and effective, your faith will grow as you witness answered prayers, and your connection with fellow believers will deepen. God wants to do something of eternal significance in the lives of those in the community we are moving into. We are preparing on our knees. The Prayer Journey will be web based.

Honduras Mission Trip

Honduras Mission Trip Dates: June 9 – June 16

Do you have an interest to
serve on a short term mission team? The Honduras team is hosting their
first Information Meeting on Sunday, February 26, 4pm at the Hope
offices. Needed: Men’s Bible Study leader, Woman’s Bible Study leader;
Youth Camp leaders; Children’s Camp Leaders. No experience required,
just a love for God and a desire to serve these amazing
Honduran/Nicaraguan Pastoral families. This is a great trip for Hope
families to serve together!

SHARING YOUR FAITH WORKSHOP

Jesus commanded us to make disciples and this begins with sharing our faith with others. Some people do it naturally while others are hesitant. Come spend some time with Pastor Neal Creecy as he teaches and equips us to share our faith with others in a comfortable and effective way. The Sharing Your Faith workshop will be held on Saturday, February 18th, from 10am to noon at our Boulder City campus located at 850 Avenue B in Boulder City.

BAPTISM CELEBRATION ~ March 17/18

At Hope, we believe that Jesus followers making this public profession of their faith is a significant part of their Christian journey. While Baptism does not save someone, it is an opportunity to let the body of Christ know you have made a heart decision for a relationship with God through Jesus Christ. Remember to invite your family and friends to come and celebrate this special time with you.

RACEWAY MINISTRIES

Raceway Ministries will give gift bags to 1700 RV’s that enter the infield & RV campgrounds March 9-11, 2012. Homemade cookies are a personal touch and a gift that shows how much we care about people! It gives us an open door to share Christ’s love through kindness. OUR COOKIE GOAL IS 285 DOZEN COOKIES. We need the cookies by March 1, 2012. We can pick them up if you cannot get to the SNBA office.
