What is serving all about?
Every week hundreds and hundreds of men, women, and teenagers from Hope serve in ministries all over the city of Las Vegas! These volunteers use their gifts and abilities to help connect people to live the life of a Jesus follower. We desire to see people within our church take steps to express their love of God through an avenue of service.
How do I find a place to serve at Hope?
Our entry point to membership and ministry at Hope is an environment called Discovering Hope. During Discovering Hope we walk through numerous ministry opportunity available at Hope. If you have already been through DH and would like to engage in serving at Hope, fill out the ministry interest form and submit it to the church office. For more info about DH, please click here.
What opportunities are available?
Hope has many areas of ministry for you to be a part of on the weekend or during the week. The teams listed below are all great opportunities for service, so please check the boxes that interest you and someone will contact you very soon.
Hospitality Team
The Hospitality Team believes that first impressions make a huge impact. These teams are made up of individuals who love creating welcoming environments for people who attend and visit Hope.
Parking Lot Team
The Parking Lot Team serves the body of Christ on the front lines every week. They assist in helping those who attend our Weekend Experience find a place to park, remain safe, and feel welcome. This team is for those who love people and have a desire to give basic instructions to help others.
Usher Team
This team serves our church by assisting with seating, the offering, and assisting people through out the service. This is a great role for those with people skills and who love to meet and greet others.
Security Team
Our security team serves as the protection for our Teaching Pastors as well as the overall safety of the campus during our weekend service. This role requires a background check.
Family Ministry Team
Our Family Ministry team is made up of people with a passion to invest in the next generation. Volunteers serve kids, birth through high school, in safe age–appropriate environments where the Bible is taught in a creative and relevant way. There are many opportunities to serve on families at Hope through our four primary environments. This role requires a background check.
Worship Arts Ministry Team
Our Celebration Choir, Band, Vocal Team and Dance Team serve our church weekly through music and the arts. These men and women work hard to lead us to celebrate God’s greatness through the vehicle of music and art.
Media & Technical Arts
From operating cameras and sound to trouble-shooting computer issues, the Media Arts teams use their gifts in media production and technology to enhance the worship experience at Hope.
